Our students did a great job thanking some of the firefighters who helped battle the wild fire last weekend. Click here to see the video clip on KSL.

Grandparent's Day Read-A-Thon
We had such a great turnout for our Grandparent's Day Read-A-Thon on Monday! 278 people signed in before going to read with their grandkids. We even had GREAT-grandparents! That is some serious support for our students! What a great way for grandparents (and great-grandparents) to show their students how much reading and education is valued. Thanks, everyone, for your continued support in our efforts to help our students learn, grow, and succeed.

2010-2011 No-Fuss Fundraiser
We are still accepting donations for our 2010-2011 No-Fuss Fundraiser. The programs and events PHAST sponsors during the year are costly (approximately $25 per student). Because schools that participate in traditional fundraisers--wrapping paper, chocolates, candles, magazine subscriptions, etc.--only receive a small percentage of the money raised, PHAST holds a donation-only fundraiser. This way all of the money donated stays at Providence Hall to the benefit of our students.
I you haven't had a chance to participate in this easy, no-fuss fundraiser, please consider donating now. Though we are happy to accept any amount, parents who donate $25 between now and the Fall Bookfair will receive a $5 coupon to use at the book fair. We would like to collect enough money so we can hold our Fall Festival and Spring Carnival for free and not need them to be fundraisers, so please consider all that PHAST does when donating.
Please note that we will gladly accept donations at any time during the year. You can make your check out to “PHAST” and drop it by the front office.

2010-2011 Yearbook
We're already working on our yearbook for this year and what we need are pictures, pictures, pictures! If you take pictures at our school events that you think would work for the yearbook we'd love to see them. Please send the best 5 or 6 pictures from the event to our Yearbook Chairperson, Natalie Winder, at nataliewinder@gmail.com. Thanks!
